Dragon Age: Inquisition bekommt 4 Spieler Co-Op Modus

BioWare bringt einen 4 Spieler Co-Op Modus für Dragon Age: Inquisition. Laut den Entwicklern soll es eine „action-packed dungeon-crawling four-player co-op experience“ werden.

Der Multiplayer wird keinerlei Einfluss auf die Single-Player Kampagne haben und auch umgekehrt nicht, laut BioWare. Die Co-Op Story wird getrennt ablaufen von der Kampagne des Spiels und Items vom Multiplayer werden nicht in den Single-Player übernommen.

„We wanted to make sure that the two economies are separate, which will allow a stronger progression in both SP and MP,“ BioWare im Interview „If you play Dragon Age multiplayer, you will learn how each class plays a different role in combat, how different skills work, and how your party composition can give you a tactical advantage on the battlefield. This knowledge is transferable to SP, but items are not.“

Der Co-Op Multiplayer wird nur online sein und es arbeitet dasselbe Team in der Entwicklung, was bereits den Multiplayer von Mass Effect 3 entwickelt hat. Ein lokaler Splitscreen Multiplayer ist nicht geplant

Der Multiplayer von Dragon Age: Inquisition soll mit 12 Charakteren zum Launch spielbar sein und es sind mehr Charaktere nach dem Launch geplant.

Dragon Age: Inquisition erscheint für PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox 360 und Xbox One am 18. November in Nord Amerika und 21. November in Europa.
